REMINDER!  If you are renting, leasing, selling, or have sold your share between the 2011 and 2012 pool seasons, please email info@hayfieldpool.org to notify the HFSC membership chairman. You will receive an e-mail confirming your status.


Membership Dues Information for 2012 Season

Spring is just around the corner! It’s time to get your dues payments in. Please use the 2012 Membership Dues Intention Form to pay dues, and if necessary, include an updated HFSC Information Form. Dues for the 2012 season are $425. Payments should be made as follows:

$400 - If paid by March 1, 2012 (early payment discount of $25)
$425 - If paid by April 1, 2012 (actual amount for 2012 dues)
$450- If paid by May 1, 2012 ($25 late fee incurred)

If you pay after April 1, you must include the $25 late fee. If your dues are not paid by May 1, 2012, your share will be leased. Once your share is leased, you will not have access to the pool for the season.

PLEASE NOTE: If you did not pay your dues last year AND did not contact the Membership Chairman with instructions to lease out your share, you must do so this year in order to avoid losing your membership. Our Bylaws state:

Any stockholder who is two years in arrears on payment of his or her annual dues, assessment, or late fees by May 1 of each year shall automatically forfeit their membership and rights and no longer be a stockholder in the Corporation

If there have been any changes to your family or contact information since last year, please remember to send the HFSC Information Form with your payment. If there are no changes, you do not need to return the form. Please include only those dependents residing in your household who are 25 years of age and under, and grandchildren. For those of you who have not yet had a picture taken, you may have your picture taken the first time you check in at the front desk.

Joining the Pool: HFSC's "Wait to Buy" List

HFSC has 425 membership shares, and currently they are all SOLD. Because a few members decide to sell their shares back to HFSC each year, we have developed a "wait-to-buy" list to accommodate those who would like to purchase a share when one becomes available.

If you are a home owner and are interested in being placed on the "wait to buy" list, please include a note with your lease information and check or send an e-mail to info@hayfieldpool.org. The "wait-to-buy" list wait-time varies based on how many members decide to sell their shares each year. Contact info@hayfieldpool.org for the current estimate.

Shares are sold for $550. In the first year of ownership, you pay $550, plus the annual dues as noted above. For subsequent years, you only pay the annual dues.

If you decide you don't want or need your membership, we will sell it to the next person on our list and refund your $550, or you can sell it with the sale of a home. Once your share is sold, either through HFSC or by you to the purchaser of your home, your membership number is cancelled and a new number and certificate of ownership are issued to the new owner.


Share Leasing Information for 2012 Season

If you wish to be placed on the lease list for the HFSC 2012 pool season, please complete and mail the 2012 HFSC Lease List Deposit Form along with a deposit in the amount of $25 to:

The sooner you send in the deposit, the greater the likelihood you will get a lease for this summer. Leases are assigned as they become available by order of the postmark date on the deposit. In fairness to everyone on the mailing list, I cannot accept hand-delivery of deposit checks at my home.

The cost of a lease for the 2012 season is $475. When you reach the top of the list, I will send an e-mail notifying you that a lease is available. If you accept the lease, the remaining $450 is due and payable at that time; the $25 deposit check and the $450 check will be deposited together.

Our members have until May 1, 2012 to determine whether they will pay their dues or lease their share for the summer, so it will take until then to complete the process. If your name does not come up for a lease this summer, the $25 check will be destroyed unless you prefer that I return it to you.
